What determines website prices? Package or custom quote?
For the same business, one developer may quote 5,000 and another 50,000 lira. Neither has to be wrong, because the quotes don't describe the same thing. Once you know what makes up the price, you can compare quotes and avoid paying for nothing.
The five things that set the price
The price of a website is not a magic number; it is the sum of these items:
- ✓Design: adapting a ready-made theme, or a design made from scratch for your brand
- ✓Content and page count: who prepares the text and images, and how many pages there are
- ✓Features: contact form, multilingual setup, online booking, payments, user login, admin panel
- ✓Integrations: payment provider, shipping, accounting or a link to your own software
- ✓Support: how many months after launch, and what the support covers
Is a package price better, or a custom quote?
For standard jobs with clear needs (a showcase site, a small online shop), a package price is easier for you: you know what you get and what you pay from the start.
For mobile apps, custom software or projects that must connect to other systems, the scope of each job differs; the right price can only be given after the need is discussed. So waiting for a custom quote on such projects is normal.
Our packages
At Webora we offer three clear packages for websites: Starter at ₺19,900, Professional at ₺24,900 and e-commerce starting from ₺34,900. All three include custom design, an admin panel and 1 year of free support. For website packages we first prepare a free demo; if you don't like it, you don't pay.
Mobile apps and support for existing projects go ahead with a project-specific quote; we start with a free discovery call or technical review.
Questions to ask when requesting quotes
Before comparing two quotes, ask each of them the same questions:
- ✓What is included in the price and what isn't? (domain, hosting, photos, copywriting)
- ✓How many revisions do I get, and are extra requests charged?
- ✓Will I be able to use the admin panel myself?
- ✓Is there support after launch, and for how long?
- ✓Whose name will the site and domain be registered in?
Beware of very low prices
A quote far below the market average usually means corners cut on design or support. Because of ready-made themes, limited support and hidden extra fees, the first cheap quote can end up expensive.
The right quote is the one that shows you in writing what you are buying and for how much.
